Usage Tips

Ammo

The Retrofuturist has very limited ammo so making the most out of its damage can make the difference between a one-shot or having to switch out to something else. Thankfully, Bungie is working on changing the current ammo economy in the game to make up for the scarcity of ammo during the beta. However having some ammo efficiency won't hurt anyone. Try to get the shotgun's pellets to borderline hit the enemies head and make Its got a pretty wide spread the further away the enemy is from you so if you plan on shooting enemies from a distance make sure its to clear multiple enemies.

Bullet Spread and Range

If you're reading this then most likely you're a shotgun enthusiast or at least you have a good amount of knowledge when it comes to shotguns and video games. The Retrofuturist is your typical shotgun, wide spread and even wider spread when the target is further away. However the retrofuturist does little to almost zero damage once you go into the mid-range. Make sure you are just a little bit out of punching range when you decide to fire up this shotgun. Otherwise you could end up wasting a potential one-shot kill.
