Looks likes Bungie is pairing up with some energy drink brands once again. The last time a promotional event like this took place it was in the first Destiny game with Red Bull. Players who purchased a Red Bull can could find a code underneath the pull tab. Players could then redeem the code and receive in-game loot such as the Swift River Sparrow.
It is currently unknown what these loot codes with give us but if you have a code, you may redeem it at destiny2.rockstarenergy.com. However the site is currently still unavailable, but we can be pretty sure the codes will contain some in-game gear just like what Red Bull did.
During Red Bulls promotional event, player would receive cool in-game items such as a Ghost and River Sparrow. However during this event players reported that the codes could easily be generated through a software program and some players who actually bought a Red Bull would redeem an already used code. Hopefully Rockstar Energy won't have to go through the same issues.
Rockstar Energy's promotional event also allows consumers to win limited edition games, PlayStation 4 consoles, and a Rockstar Energy Motorcycle.
