Destiny 2 beta will be ready for preload on July 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. PDT. However, the Destiny 2 beta won't go live until July 18, 2017 which isn't until next week.
Players may opt to preload the game to have it ready to play when the closed beta goes live and players will NOT be required to have an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live subscription to engage with the Destiny 2 Beta.
To preload the game, head over to your respective online stores for your console (PS4 or Xbox One). PC users will have to wait until August 2017 for the PC beta. Take note that the closed beta will only be available to those who have already pre-purchased the game. Non pre-purchasers will have to wait for July 21, 2017 for the console open Beta.
How to Find your Early Access (Digital Download)
To find your pre-loading option for the Destiny 2 beta, simply head over to your online store. Xbox Store for Xbox One and Play Station Store for the Playstation 4.
Next you'll have to navigate your way through the store. If it isn't blatantly advertised on the featured games page of the store it should be in the list of free games section. If you have pre-ordered Destiny 2, you should be able to see it as the first free game listed.
Simply open up the Destiny 2 beta store page and select download.
How to Find your Early Access (Retail)
If you happen to have bought your copy of Destiny 2 from a participating retail shop, you will receive a 9-digit Early Access code. Players must redeem the code on Bungie.net. If you have purchased your copy from a participating retailer and is yet to receive an Early Access code, players must contact their retailer for further assistance.
