Destiny 2 will feature new weapons and armor, since players won't be able to keep any of their old gear, it seems like Bungie did a total overhaul of the weapons and gear that were previously available. This also means new exotic and legendary gear.
Weapons will also be newly categorized into three types: kinetic, energy and power weapons. This should pave way to give players the ability to fully customize their Guardians to however they desire. Further allowing players to shape the way other players will identify them. And just to spice things up a bit, during the game play reveal we've seen some new weapons being used such as grenade launchers, mini-guns and sub-machine guns to take part in our fight against Ghaul.
