Dead ghosts locations

You need to be doing the Nexus mission to find this ghost. Clear out all the enemies and go up the stairs. Look behind a machine on the left, the ghost will be there.

As part of the Nexus mission, look for the room with a big tank and you'll find the office room with the ghost inside a sink.

Mars has 18 Dead Ghosts to collect

A dead ghost can be found in the area where you find your first golden chest.

In the scablands, look for a giant gate and walk under it. Stick to the back wall on the left and jump up to the ledge to grab the dead ghost.

Once you get to Giant's Pass a tree will be there. The dead ghost will hiding in its roots.

When you see the portal, keep going down that path and you should see the dead ghost on a ledge on the right.

While doing the Exclusion mission, at the end of it, head over to the outpost and jump to the top of it. A dead ghost can be found around the area.

Once you reach the Firebase, go on over to the left and into a cave. You'll find a tree and around its roots will be a dead ghost.

Upon seeing the gate, go to the left and jump your way up to a platform and keep jumping and double jumping until you reach the dead ghost.

Upon reaching trenchworks, keep gong straight until you see a rock and some lighting equipment on your right. A dead ghost should be in the area.

Right before the Garden's Spire boss fight, head over to the rooms under the pillar and grab the dead ghost.

Go to the dome-like building with the CB logo and start jumping up on the boxes to reach the dead ghost above.

When you get inside the Dust Palace, go up to the second floor and jump up using the boxes to get to the third floor. Keep jumping up from window to ledge all the way to the dead ghost above.

Look for a room with the name Clovis Bray. Make a left at the top of the stairs and you should find a dead ghost by the desk with the computers.

Look for two trees near to the left. Head on over there and you'll find a dead ghost on its branches.

Make your way to the roof and then go on over to the right to grab the dead ghost.

Go into the dark room and make your way for the Television. On top of it is a dead ghost.

This one is a bit tricky, in the second area of the Tharsis Junction look for a big gate. From there, walk to the left until you reach the dead ghost in the dark.

Once you've entered the area right after the teleport, look behind you to find some rocks. Climb those rocks up until you reach the dead ghost.

Climb up the flight of stairs and keep going down the path on the right until you reach the end of it. Look down to see that you can jump onto a platform. Jump down to find the final dead ghost.

There are a total of 6 dead ghosts in the Dark Below DLC

While on the mission Seige of the the Warmind, the ghost can be found along the hall of the Seraphim Vault. It should be behind a machine, if you reach the doors at the end you've gone too far past it.

You'll find the next dead ghost in the path down the stairs to Rasputin's room

The dead ghost is located on the Warmind. Use your jumping abilities and hop on the cables to reach it.

This next ghost can only be acquired while on the Wakening quest. When you get to the second green fire, go left into a passage and the dead ghost should be close to your area.

You can only acquire this ghost in the Wakening mission. Continue deep into the depths of the moon and start looking around the rocks jutting out of from the ground.

Look for a large triangular-like object, the dead ghost should be on top of that object.

The House of Wolves DLC has a total of 9 dead ghosts

The dead ghost is near Varkis, navigate your way up the crates to find it.

When you see Brother Vance, go all the way to the right of him and jump where you'll find a net full of Fallen technology.

To get to this ghost, you have to jump off the ledge onto the metal beams under the staircase. Once on the beams you have to crouch your way to the ghost.

To get this ghost you have to be either on the Patrol mission or The Silent Fang mission. Exit out into the open area and look around up to the area above you. Navigate your way up there and go to the end of the path.

Before you reach the end of the Ruling House mission, jump up to the area of the Russian building and all the way to the end of the hall to find the dead ghost.

In the same area, another dead ghost is high up on the rafters jump on the objects to navigate your way up.

From the first landing zone look behind you to see a gap in the block. The dead ghost on top of it.

In the same area, jump across the spawning platforms and then go to the upper left to where the dark side of the structure is. You'll find a dead ghost in the dark corner.

The next ghost is on the structure where Skolas spawns. You have to jump on top of it to grab the ghost.

There are 17 dead ghosts that players may collect in The Taken King

When you start the mission The Coming War in Clovis Bay, a little bit further in the mission inspect the rocks around you to find a ghost on top of one of them.
